연구실 소개
식물병역학 연구실은 1985년에 박은우 교수의 지도하에 설립되었으며, 주로 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션을 이용한 식물병 예찰에 대한 연구를 수행해오고 있다. 식물병 예찰을 위한 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션 프로그램은 병 발생 및 진전과정 전체를 하나의 생태계로 보고 이 생태계를 구성하는 여러 과정을 subsystem으로 간주하여 식물병에 대한 모형을 얻어 컴퓨터로 프로그램화하여 만들게 된다. 지금까지 벼도열병, 벼잎집무늬마름병, 보리붉은곰팡이병, 사과겹무늬썩음병, 포도만부병, 포도노균병, 단감둥근무늬낙엽병, 고추역병 및 탄저병, 감귤궤양병 등에 대한 예찰 연구를 수행해왔고, 현재는 사과갈색무늬병 등의 예찰 모형 개발 및 종합 병해충 관리 시스템 개발을 위한 연구를 수행하고 있다.
