연구실 소개
식물세균병학 연구실에서는 주요 식물세균병의 병원성 인자 기능 분석을 통한 병 발생 기전 연구, 다양한 기술을 활용한 병 제어 및 진단 관련 연구를 진행하고 있으며, 이들 식물세균병에 대한 이해 증진 및 제어/진단 기술 개발을 목표로 한다. 본 연구실에서는 식물세균병학과 미생물학뿐만아니라 식물학, 분자생물학, 유전학, 생화학 관련 연구방법들을 활용한다.
Plant Bacteriology Lab aims to expand our understanding of plant diseases caused by plant-pathogenic bacteria and to develop techniques for disease management and diagnosis. For this, this lab focuses on studies about pathogenesis mechanisms of plant-pathogenic bacteria by studying major virulence genes and development of tools for disease management and diagnosis in plants by application of diverse techniques.
